Back to me with a Food theme again. 😀
Well, I’d like to tell you a brief description of this pudding.

Namanya zaman now, bisnis yang dilakukan oleh orang-orang hari ini semakin berkembang, semakin kreatif dan full of innovation. Salah satunya adalah bisnis yang memanjakan perut, lidah, dan mata. Yaps, tidak salah lagi, it is about FOOD or PUDDING. 😀

Oh iya, sebelum kita melangkah ke hasil reviewnya, saya mau memaparkan dulu sedikit tentang @pudingku_e, salah satu lokal brand dari daerah saya, Baubau, Buton, Sulawesi Tenggara.

Siapa owner @pudingku_e?
Ownernya bernama Ibu Yuli Yastiani. Senior saya sewaktu kuliah S1 di Unidayan sekaligus rekan ngajar di salah satu kampus swasta di Baubau.

Mengapa memilih brand @pudingku_e sebagai nama usaha?
@pudingku_e terinspirasi dari salah satu toko di Makassar, yaitu Rumahku. Owner juga mencari berbagai referensi di Paman Google berkaitan dengan pemilihan nama toko kue dan ada salah satu toko yang menarik perhatiannya, yaitu Toko Rotiku_e. Selain itu juga, kata pudingku_e, ada huruf e di bagian akhir menunjukkan gaya bicara khas orang Baubau yang selalu memakai huruf e di belakang kalimatnya. Sehingga, nama brand ini terkesan lebih local taste.

Dalam sehari bisa buat berapa orderan @pudingku_e?
Bisa buat 10 cup, paling banyak bisa buat 20 cup. Terkadang ada pelanggan yang memesan di wadah piring pyrex, jadi owner bisa melayani puding dalam bentuk cup ataupun pyrex. Sekedar info, pembuatan puding ditangani langsung sama yang punya. 😀

Nah, we come to the main topic. Kali ini yang utama untuk dibahas adalah salah satu menu dari @pudingku_e adalah Puding Oreo Brownies Fla Alpukat (Puding Oredo a.k.a. Puding Oreo Avocado). Puding ini memiliki lima lapisan yaitu lapisan 1 puding, lapisan 2 fla alpukat, lapisan 3 brownies, lapisan 4 cream, lapisan 5 taburan oreo yang lezat zat zat nan manis. 😀 Rasanya? Jangan ditanya, uenaaakk beud. Recommended. Apalagi kalau makan di siang hari dan pudingnya masih dingin. Kasanana namisi ee… (artinya: senangnya perasaan; Wolio Language, readers). Untuk harga per-cupnya itu cuma Rp. 20.000. Lumayan terjangkau. Ditambah pula free ongkir untuk wilayah Baubau. *Asyikkannn kalau free ongkir. 😀

Ramen Ala Double R Cafe Baubau

Well…
Welcome back, Nining!!! 😀
Akhirnya setelah sekian lama tidak menulis (konten ringan ji saja ini kasian) :D, hari ini release postingan pertama saya di tahun 2018. Topiknya sesuai judul ya. Yaps, benar sekali, tentang Makanan. That is Ramen.

Jadi ceritanya adalah, terdapat sebuah cafe yang namanya sudah tidak asing lagi bagi warga Kota Baubau. Yaps, Double R Cafe. Ownernya ini adalah salah satu junior saya sewaktu zaman SMA dulu. 🙂 Cafe ini berlokasi di kawasan Batulo Baubau, lebih tepatnya di Depan Radio Ozzon. Nah, sekarang cafenya buka cabang di salah satu kampus swasta di Kota Baubau, yaitu di Universitas Dayanu Ikhsanuddin alias Unidayan.

Cafenya sih ala ala outdoor gitu. Jadi we don’t need AC, only need Angin Cepoi-cepoi. 😀 Cocok bagi yang ingin menghilangkan penat setelah long time to be in classroom. 😀

Untuk menunya bervariasi, ada beberapa kategori, antara lain FOOD, ICE FOOD, DESSERT, COLD DRINKS, and HOT DRINKS. Harganya juga lumayan terjangkau, apalagi dengan standar ‘kantung mahasiswa’. 🙂

Berhubung panggilan ‘kampung tengah’ siang tadi telah meminta untuk diisi, maka Iin dan saya segera melangkahkan kaki menuju Double R Cafe Unidayan ini. Iin order Ramen dan Ice Lemon Tea, sementara saya Ramen dan Hot Chocolatos. 😀 Untuk nunggu pesanan tiba, we have to spend about 10 minutes for it. Namun, untuk menghabiskan ramennya, tidak butuh waktu 10 menit, readers. 😀 Langsung ludes. Antara enak sekali dan lapar e.

Sebenarnya kalau rasa, tergantung selera orang sih. Kan beda-beda. Kalau saya ini, hmm, sapu rata makanan. Selama makanan itu halal dan dirasa enak, yaa dimakan. 😀

Nanti coba icip-icip dant Ramen di Double R Cafe Unidayan. Yaa, bisa-lah. 🙂

Nirwana Buton Villa

Hi readers, long time no see you. 🙂 Finally, I can write again in the middle of my busy week. :’)

I want to tell you about one of villas in Baubau, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. Yeah, it is Nirwana Buton Villa (NBV) that located at Jl. Dayanu Ikhsanuddin, Sulaa. It is not far from Betoambari Airport (5 km) and near Nirwana beach, so we can enjoy the beauty of Nirwana beach. What a wonderful scenery!

Do you want to find a quite atmosphere while enjoying marine scenery? NBV can be a recommended place. Why? Because it is quite far around 8.7 km from downtown and near the beach. However, don’t need to be worried of transportation. We can go to NBV by car, motorbike, taxi, ojek, etc. It is accessible. You can try it.

NBV has rooms. There are:
1. Deluxe rooms (Rp. 500.000/night),
2. Deluxe Seaview rooms (Rp. 550.000/night),
3. Executive Suite Seaview room (Rp. 600.000/night),
4. Standard rooms* (Rp. 300.000 or Rp. 350.000/ night),
5. Seaview Bungalow (Rp. 1.500.000/night), and
6. Executive Bungalow (Rp. 3.500.000/night).
*Standard rooms, they can be booked at least 4 rooms. It is used for group of people.

Warkop Kampung Maya

I’m in Baubau now, but tonight I’m going to go back in Makassar for starting my study (again). Because I have time to do nothing 😀 I decide to write about one of places to hang out where we can enjoy a beautiful view, some snacks, and wifi in Baubau. 🙂 Do you wanna try to visit the place? Let’s go there. 😉

It is Warkop Kampung Maya. It is located besides my house, Jalan Anoa, Kel. Kadolomoko, Kec. Kokalukuna. Surely, you can find it easily. Warkop has two little huts and one gode-gode, one of kinds of seat where people can sit on a flat board/wood while having conversation (koja-koja mantale in Wolio Language). Besides providing WiFi to browse internet (of course we must pay this for Rp. 5,000), the Warkop serves menu list to have coffee and snacks, the prices about Rp. 6,000 – Rp. 3,000. So cheapppp!!! 🙂 I think it is almost same as Wantiro hill. 🙂 Good place, nice seascape, cheap coffee and snacks. Why don’t you try to visit in this place?

MLC TOEFL Prediction Test and Seminar Pendidikan Luar Negeri

There was an event on June 15, 2014 (Sunday) at La Ode Malim Auditorium Dayanu Ikhsanuddin University, namely MLC TOEFL Prediction Test dan Seminar Pendidikan Luar Negeri.The event was educative and very interesting. I think that was the first time for such the event held in Baubau. It was followed by students in university, high school, and some teachers.

It was held by Makida Learning Center. It is one of courses in Baubau, located at Jalan Erlangga Ruko Pos 3 Baubau. You can also contact it via Facebook or Twitter.

Sunday morning, I arrived at campus before the event held and met my friends. Did not forget to take some pictures with them. 😀

Before I entered the room, I had to have re-registration and got Paper List Beasiswa Luar Negeri and a booklet of Makida Learning Center.

For the first session, all participants had a TOEFL Test, it was about

140 questions in 110 minutes. The questions were WOW WOW WOW.. And I can’t predict how my score will be. 😀 Afterwards, we were explained all about TOEFL, how to answer the questions, tips and trick by Mr. Boy, one of tutor in Master TOEFL Makassar. He had nice explanation. 🙂

Then, we had lunch. Eating time!!! 😀 Ahaideee…
After that, the seminar was started.

There were three people as resource person. They were La Ode Aroamonkdo, S.IP, M.A. (Who got his postgraduate degree in Germany), Muhammad Arham (One of students in English Literature Hasanuddin University who got youth exchange from JENNESYS), and Mr. Calleb Coppenger (the author of The Mysteries of the Islands of Buton According to the Old men and Me).

The conclusions that I could get from their explanation and moderator are:

There is a will, there is a way. (Arham’s words)
To get the scholarship, we must have high value and competitiveness.
Of course, we must struggle to get the scholarship and survive abroad.
Studying abroad can open our mind and insight. What we can see abroad, we can’t see it here (Indonesia). What we can see in Indonesia, we can’t see it abroad.
There is no automatic result, it must be filled by working hard and struggling.
If we want to study abroad, we should prepare our self “before the deadline”. For example, we have a plan to study abroad in 2014. So, we must prepare in 2009 or 2010. Yup, I mean “before deadline”. 😀

The closing session was giving of souvenirs to the resource persons and the taking of photos together.

The Sudden Journey to the Pine Forest in Samparona

It happened on June 2nd, 2014. Actually, going to the pine forest in Samparona is one of desires of my friends, Mey. But, it doesn’t always come true. Yah, because our time isn’t always enough and the weather isn’t always so good. So, on June 2nd, 2014, she got it. 🙂

We phoned Athul, Daus, and Iyan in the afternoon. They agreed to go there. But, Iyhan didn’t answer our phone. So, we went to Iyhan’s house to tell what we planned . Because we believed that he was sleeping. 😀 Fortunately, he wanted, even though it was a sudden thing. 😀 All of us (Iyhan, Alam, Athul, Daus, Mey, and I) had gathered and we were ready to go there…

FYI, the pine forest is located in Samparona, in Kaesabu Vilage, Sorawolio district, Baubau. Before we are in there, we will pass a wide area that used as a venue for National Women Campsite (Perkempinas) I.

And then, taraaaa… We arrived there…. 😀

Many people go to the pine forest to take pictures, whether for pre-wedding or for having fun. Yeah, it’s nice location. 🙂 Maybe, if you live in Baubau, you’ll feel bored to look at our pictures because it’s in the pine forest. Again, again, and again. 😀 But, it’s OK, because we enjoy it. There were happiness, joking, laughter and togetherness from us. And they’re priceless. 🙂

Wolio Snack and Collection Baubau

Hello… We meet again. 🙂 I hope you will not be bored to read my writing. In this chance, I write a little information about Wolio Snack and Collection.

Baubau has many interesting places/shops to get souvenir, such as traditional foods or things that have indication they’re from Baubau or Buton. One of places to get them is Wolio Snack and Collection. It is located at Jalan Gajah Mada (Lamangga Atas). It is on the side of road so it is easy to find this place.

Although it looks like a simple shop, but there are many things we can buy and the price is affordable. The owner said that they still process foods by home-made, such as abon ikan (shredded fish) I bought. The price is about Rp. 12, 000. 00/package. It is cheap, isn’t it?

Unfortunately, I don’t ask more about things and price in that place because I was in a hurry to bring the shredded fish to my lecturer’s friend. 😀

So, if you are still in Baubau for having vacation, maybe Wolio Snack & Collection will be your destination place to get what you can bring in your place. 🙂

Roasted Corn in BNI Park Baubau

Finally, I have time to write. Work makes me not to have time to write. But, actually it may not be as a reason not to write. 😀 Forgive me, my lovely blog. :*

Ok. This chance I post a writing about BNI Park Baubau. Yup, there is roasted corn in BNI Park. And that is delicious. Yummmyyy…

First, I have to tell you where BNI Park is, because some people don’t know the place. They just know BRI Park. –” Hehe… Ok, BNI Park is different with BRI Park. BNI Park is located in front of Murhum Harbour Baubau, it’s near Pineapple’s statue. Could you look this picture?

Then, there is a man who sells the roasted corn, but I don’t know his name, I just call him with ‘Om.’ He is kind to his customers.

The corn is Hybrid corn, I think. He sells a corn Rp. 5,000.00. We can eat in BNI Park or everywhere. Depend on us.

There are two ways when he serves the corn to the customers. First, just serve the corn as usual, in a complete shape, like this.

And, second, he cuts the kernels corn and pours a little salt and chilli into it, like this.

And I always like eating roasted corn by using second way. 😀

So, if you want to try to eat roasted corn at roadside, please go to BNI Park. But, you must be careful, lest you get hit by vehicle. Hehehe…
