It is scheduled twice a week, on Sunday at 11.00 a.m. and Wednesday at 07.30 p.m. The topic in this program talks about Tourism on Sunday and news that still regarded interesting enough to discuss on Wednesday. As the broadcaster, Miss Titin, said via SMS, “For Sunday, the topic should about tourism. ” Each days has different topics.

This program is possible for people who want to learn English because they can improve their English. TUGAS AKHLAK DAN BUDAYA BUTON

1. Pengertian akhlak menurut para ahli.

– Ibn Miskawaih, ahli falsafah Islam yang terkenal mentakrifkan akhlak itu sebagai keadaan jiwa yang mendorong ke arah melahirkan perbuatan tanpa pemikiran dan penelitian.

-Imam Ghazali RadiAllahu Anhu mengatakan: akhlak ialah suatu keadaan yang tertanam di dalam jiwa yang menampilkan perbuatan-perbuatan dengan senang tanpa memerlukan pemikiran dan penelitian. Apabila perbuatan itu baik dan terpuji menurut syara dan aqal, perbuatan itu dinamakan akhlak yang mulia. Sebaliknya, apabila perbuatan yang buruk, ia dinamakan akhlak yang buruk.

– Ahmad Amin menyatakan bahwa akhlak adalah perangai yang melekat pada diri seseorang yang dapat memunculkan perbuatan baik tanpa mempertimbangkan pikiran terlebih dahulu.

2. Pengertian akhlak menurut pribadi sendiri.

Akhlak adalah suatu perilaku yang telah tertanam dalam diri manusia diakibatkan kebiasaan – kebiasaan yang dilakukan tanpa adanya pertimbangan dahulu sehingga kemudian akan menjadi kepribadiannya.

3. Pengertian kebudayaan menurut para ahli.

– Edward B. Taylor menyatakan bahwa kebudayaan merupakan keseluruhan yang kompleks, yang di dalamnya terkandung pengetahuan, kepercayaan, kesenian, moral, hukum, adat istiadat, dan kemampuan-kemampuan lain yang didapat oleh sebagai anggota masyarakat.

– Koentjaraningrat menyatakan kebudayaan adalah keseluruhan sistem gagasan, tindakan, dan hasil karya manusia dalam rangka kehidupan masyarakat yang dijadikan milik diri manusia dengan belajar.

– Ki Hajar Dewantara menyatakan Kebudayaan berarti buah budi manusia adalah hasil perjuangan manusia terhadap dua pengaruh kuat, yakni zaman dan alam yang merupakan bukti kejayaan hidup manusia untuk mengatasi berbagai rintangan dan kesukaran di dalam hidup dan penghidupannya guna mencapai keselamatan dan kebahagiaan yang pada lahirnya bersifat tertib dan damai.

– Arkeolog R. Soekmono menyatakan bahwa kebudayaan adalah seluruh hasil usaha manusia, baik berupa benda ataupun hanya berupa buah pikiran dan dalam penghidupan.

4. Pengertian kebudayaan menurut pribadi sendiri.

Kebudayaan adalah sesuatu hal yang merupakan hasil cipta manusia yang kemudian menjadi kebiasaan suatu masyarakat atau golongan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari secara berkelanjutan.

5. Pengertian akhlak dan kebudayaan menurut pribadi sendiri.

Akhlak dan kebudayaan adalah sistem pengetahuan yang meliputi sistem ide gagasan yang terdapat dalam pemikiran manusia, dimana dilandasi dengan tingkah laku manusia yang didorong oleh suatu keinginan secara sadar untuk melakukan suatu perbuatan yang baik yang dapat dijadikan pedoman dan pengarah hidup manusia dalam berprilaku baik secara individu maupun kolompok.

Kebiasaan yang ditunjukan suatu individu atau sekelompok masyarakat dan akhirnya menjadi suatu kebiasaan yang tidak dapat di tinggalkan lagi karena telah melekat dalam kehidupan mereka.

Akhlak dan kebudayaan adalah suatu perilaku atau tingkah laku manusia yang berasal dari hasil cipta manusia itu sendiri yang ditujukan untuk membantu manusia dalam melangsungkan kehidupan bermasyarakat sehingga menjadi suatu kebiasaan yang kemudian menjadi kepribadian diri manusia itu sendiri.

6. Pemaknaan kebutonan.

Arti kebutonan yaitu kalau kita merasa sebagai orang Buton maka proses dan perilaku keseharian kita dalam hidup ini harus berlandaskan budaya, adat, ataupun kebiasaan yang selama ini dipedomani dalam segala segi kehidupan kita sehari-hari. Contohnya, seperti yang ada pada Falsafah Buton ; pobhinci-bhinciki kuli, pomae-maeka, pomaa-maasiaka, poangka-angakakata, serta yinda-yindamo arata somanamo karo, yinda-yindamo karo somanamo lipu, yinda-yindamo lipu somanamo sara, yinda-yindamo sara somanamo agama.

Kata Buton berasal dari kata Butuuni ( Bahasa Arab) yang artinya perut. Maksudnya adalah di dalam perut Pulau Buton banyak terdapat sumber daya alam yang berlimpah yang bermanfaat bagi kehidupan umat manusia.

Assignment of Writing I, My Daily Activities

I have daily activities. I usually get up at 05.00 o’clock. Then I go to the toilet and I take ablution for praying. After praying, I usually learn about subject matter that will be learnt in class. So, it can improve my comprehension about the subject.

Because I am a student in university, I have class from Monday to Saturday and it has different time. So, I have to be able to adjust my time in accordance with my schedule.

On Monday and Tuesday, class begins the subject at 07.30 am. So, when it is 06.00 o’clock, I have to take a bath and leave my house at 07.00 o’clock. Sometimes, I don’t have breakfast. I go to campus by public car. I wait it in PDAM Buton Regency at Jalan Sultan Ikhsanuddin. I usually arrive in campus at 07.30 am. But, sometimes I come late because I am not discipline for the time schedule. I am aware about that. It is one of my bad habits and I must correct it to be better for my self and my future. Assignment Of Speaking I – Dialog “Tourism Of Bau-Bau Town”

Ning   : Iin, do you know that our town has many interesting places?

Iin       : Yes, I do. I know about that. Why do you ask about it?

Ning   : I just want to know where is your favorite place here? I want to compare with my favorite place.

Iin       : My favorite place is in Keraton fortress.

Ning   : Why do you like it?

Iin       : Because from this fort, which still stands erect at the moment, you can find pleasure when you are in Keraton Fortress for looking around scenery of Bau-Bau  with the ships or boats sailing back and forth the Butonese strait. Besides that, you can also find a wide range of the historical relics of Butonese sultans.

Ning   : Oh, yeah. It sounds interesting. I have ever gone there, and it was really as a beautiful place like your explanation just you gave me.

Iin       : How about you? Where is your favorite place?

Ning   : Actually, I like all of places here. But, I prefer to Nirwana Beach.

Iin       : Do you like visiting there?

Ning   : Yes, of course.

So Amazing...^^

Iin       : Why? I think it is very hot there and the sun shine can make your skin become brown. Do you like having brown skin?

Ning   : Exactly, I don’t like if I have brown skin because I want to keep my skin like this.

Iin       : So, why do you like Nirwana Beach?

Ning   : Because Nirwana beach is very beautiful beach. It has white sand extending to 1 km and offers a fantastic and unforgettable sunset. On the other side of it, there is a rocky indentation used as a relaxed spot. Besides with relative smooth waves, it allows use go fishing, canoeing, skiing, diving, playing beach volleyball and other aquatic sport. It has also been equipped with several gazebos and some dressing room and rest houses are also available.

Iin       : It is so fantastic. I have ever gone there but it was not as good as right now yet.

Ning   : Yeah, current situation of Nirwana Beach is better than the first. So, where is other favorite places besides Keraton Fortress?

Iin       : Oh, I like Samparona.

Ning   : Samparona??? Where is it? Because I just heard that place.

Iin       :  Samparona is located in Sorawolio subdistrict, 13 km from Bau-Bau. You can get there on foot going through and narrow trail across some rice fields and plantations, as well as dense tropical rain forest. It is located around 7 km of the main road from Bau-Bau to Pasarwajo. The high of waterfall has almost one-hundred meter and it can make you happy after a long walk. It is a big challenge for those who love adventure. Besides, it offers its cool air and a beautifull rain forest as well as the miscellaneous kinds of exotic birds.

Ning   : Wow, it is amazing, but I think it sounds dangerous. Furthermore, I don’t like an adventure journey. Huh, I can’t imagine if I do like you do. Maybe, I’ll get tired and I can’t reach the waterfall.

Iin       : Ouch, unfortunately, I want to invite you to go there with me next weekend.

Ning   : Thanks, but maybe I can’t go with you next time, because I’m not ready yet.

Iin       : So, if you don’t like adventure, where do you want to visit while on holiday in addition to the beach?

Ning : I want to go in Lakasa Cave because I never go there. I just can see it in tourism guidebook of Bau-Bau town. It is very beautiful. Based on the tourism guidebook, it tells that Lakasa cave has a unique and beautiful stalactite and stalagmite have hundreds or even thousands of years old. When we enter the mouth of the cave is a journey that quite impressive due to the slippery condition of the cave so that the necessary equipment such as ropes and flashlights. This object is located in Sulaa, Betoambari district, 9 km from downtown of Bau-Bau.

Iin       : It sounds like an adventure. But, did not you do not like an adventure?

Ning   : Yeah, I don’t like it. But, I think trip to the Lakasa Cave is not as difficult as trip to Samparona. So, it’s better for me to visit Lakasa Cave than Samparona.

POSIPO (Feeding With Hand)

Posipo is one of culture in Buton that still exists until now in the society of Buton. Posipo means feeding with hand.

According tradition, Posipo is a term that refers to procession of tradition ceremony for feeding a pregnant woman with hand when she has the first pregnancy with age of pregnancy about 7 – 9 months. This ceremony is held by mothers and attended by relative or invited guests. It takes 1 – 2 hours with guidance an old woman who called “Bhisa” in Wolio language.

Implementation of Posipo is based at a hope in order that the pregnant woman can get ease in giving birth to the baby for the first time because there is opinion that the first child is an opener for the next birth. In Wolio, it is called Tumpe. The first birth is a special moment, but also it is full of risk for a woman.

The completeness of ceremony can be divided into 2 parts. They are:

  1. a. Infrastructure of ceremony.

It just needs a single room that can accommodate the invited guests, so they can sit to follow the ceremony.

  1. b. Equipment of ceremony.

It is the main element of ceremony. There are 2 parts, namely the personal equipment of pregnant woman and the equipment of ceremony. Posipo is not eligible without these two elements.

–      The personal equipment of pregnant woman. Such as traditional dress and 2 meters of white cloth.

–      The equipment of ceremony, such as

  • Water for bathing.
  • Legged brass tray (tala koae). It is used to put all types of food that is used for Posipo.
  • Food for Posipo. It consists of rice, fish, chicken, and vegetables. They are processed to be traditional food according to recipe of Wolio food. Besides that, there are snacks, like rhomboid shape cake (waje), fried bananas (loka yi hole), bolu, onde – onde, bharuasa, palu, fried sweet potato (ngkaowiowi yi hole).
  • Consumption for the invited guests.

The Management of Ceremony

It includes two phases: the preparation and the implementation of ceremony.

a. Preparation

Preparation of Posipo is usually done at least a day before the day of Posipo. In this stage, there are a few things done by organizing family, among others:

1. Setting up the infrastructure and equipment of ceremony.

2. Coordinate with Bhisa (an old woman) from group Walaka.

3. Distribute an invitation to the nearest relatives, neighbors and friends.

b. Implementation

Posipo ceremonial procession is divided into two phases. They are bathing and feeding.

1. Bathing (Pebhaho)

It is an initial activity of Posipo. This ceremonial procession carried out before the invited guests come and a special event involving pregnant woman and Bhisa. This activity is done in the bathroom by using water. The sequence of activities is:

  1. A pregnant woman who will be bathed uses white cloth as a bandage her body. She is seated on a footstool.
  2. Then Bhisa takes a good pitcher filled with water which had been prepared, and then she reads a prayer or mantra. After that, Bhisa pours water over herself.

2. Feeding (Posipo)

The event is done after the invited guests attend. The sequence of activities is:

  1. Pregnant woman with traditional dress sits before invited guests. Then, Bhisa opens the event by lighting incense and reads prayers.
  2. Doing Posipo. Posipo carried out by each person who attends the ceremony. They feed to pregnant woman alternately with food that is available on the trays. It is started from the closest relatives until the invited guests. After they finish doing that, they usually bring gift, it is like money or something. When this activity is completed, the event continued with having meal for the invited guests.

CERPEN > Cinta yang Tak Pernah Ada

Karena ributnya suasana kelas, gak ada guru yang masuk, aku pergi ke depan pintu kelas. Kusandarkan bahuku di daun pintu sambil melihat suasana di luar kelasku. Seketika itu, aku melihat sepasang mata sedang memandangku dengan sebuah senyuman yang belum pernah aku temukan dari seorang cowok seperti dia. Spontan aku masuk kelas.

“ Ih, aneh banget tuh cowok! Ada apa, ya? Apa ada yang aneh sama penampilanku hingga dia senyum-senyum gitu? Aaaah, bodoh ah! Lupakan, Dis!,” gumamku dalam hati.

Sesaat kemudian, dari jendela kelas, kulihat 3 orang anggota OSIS sedang berjalan menuju ke kelasku.

“ Assalamu’alaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,”kata anggota-anggota OSIS itu.

Serentak suara gaduh di kelasku hilang tak berbekas. Semua diam dan duduk di kursinya masing-masing.

“ Disampaikan kepada seluruh siswa di kelas ini untuk datang sebentar sore karena akan diadakan kerja bakti, berhubung pelaksanaan ulangan semester sudah dekat. Untuk ketua kelas, mohon membawa absen dan mengabsen teman-temannya yang hadir dan aktif, kemudian serahkan ke wali kelasnya. Ada pertanyaan? .”

Di sudut ruangan, kulihat salah seorang temanku mengacungkan tangannya, “ Kak, entar ke sekolah pake baju apa?”

“ Baju renang!,” ucap Wawan spontan. Semua pun tertawa terbahak-bahak. Suasana gaduh itu pun terjadi kembali.
