Hello, World! 😀
In this chance, I post my journey in my first semester in ELS Program Hasanuddin University.
In 2014, ELS Program has about 53 new students. We are divided into two classes. The students who have odd student’s numbers are in Class A, and even student’s numbers are in Class B. So, Class A has 27 students and Class B has 26 students.
As we know, ELS Program has three concentrations. They are Education, Literature and Linguistics Concentration. I choose Education Concentration. For this semester (1st semester), we have three basic courses (English Phonetics and Phonology, Morphosyntax and Transformational Generative Grammar, Semantics and Pragmatics) and two courses about our concentrations.

Fortunately, I belong to Class A. The class which always makes me happy, comfortable and relaxed. Thank you, guys, for your friendship. Nyamanna’. Hehehe.
In Class A, there are 9 students in Education Concentration, 9 students in Linguistics Concentration and 8 students in Literature Concentration. We have same schedule in the three basic courses and different schedule for courses that related to our concentration. And do you know? I always feel lively with them.
Because we are at the end of this semester and we will not be in same class anymore for next semester, on Desember 21, 2014 (Sunday), we had a plan to go to Salmah’s house in Samata, Gowa. We had a family picnic and studied together because we would have a final test for TG Grammar by Prof. Manda.

In Salmah’s house, we helped Salmah’s mother to make Sup Ubi in the kitchen. When everything has been done, we ate together. What a nice togetherness. After eating, we took a rest for a moment and continued our next plan. That’s STUDYING TGG. We gathered to discuss about problems we had that related to TGG and Kak Mul as the teacher of TGG. *hihihihi… Sometimes it was serious, sometimes it was funny because of the cakes. 😀

After studying TGG, we were invited Salmah to take mangoes in her mango orchards. Wow, we got many mangoes.

Because the day would be dark, we asked for permission to go home to Salmah’s parents and Salmah. The service was very nice. We were happy there. Thank you, Salmah. :*
The next day, 22 December 2014, Monday. We had the final test of TG Grammar from Prof. Manda. On 09.00 p.m. the test was done and Prof. Manda was very on time. He has been in the room early. He is one of my favorite lecturers. I always observe him when he finishes his teaching, he always cleans all of his writing on whiteboard. I remembered what Pak Supardi said to me that after finishing your teaching, you should clean the writing on whiteboard. It gives a message that we must give a good impression for next class that want to use a room after we used.
Thank you, Prof. Manda for giving us the knowledge and taking photo with us.

Also, thanks to our great lecturers in this semester, Prof. Hamzah, Prof. Hakim, Prof. Noer Jihad, Mam Sukma, Mam Nasmilah, Mam Ria and Mam Etty for the great teaching and knowledge for us.
Thank you for my friends in ELS Program to give this experience, especially Class A.
I will miss our craziness, dumba-dumba ta if the lecturers want to point us to answer some questions, our presentations, and our discussions in class and LINE. Also, Class B. Thank you, guys. Keep this relationship and friendship, please.
